Students involved in our project are in 6th, 7th, and 8th grade. They are kind and giving individuals who work hard to help others in our community. They come with all different abilities and interests, but share the common goal to give back to our world in small and large ways. This particular project is one that they feel strongly about because they have worked very hard to maintain our outdoor garden in the warmer months. They would like to continue this work year round. Even though they do not get to see who the vegetables they grow and harvest actually go to in our school they have shared how proud is makes them feel to be giving back to our school family.
