The students I work with are in general education classes in 6th-12th grade. These students look and act just like your typical teenagers. They love to socialize, be loud with there friends, and have fun. They try hard in school, but things don't come as easy to them. Most of my students suffer from TBI's, birth defects (i.e. Cerebral palsy), visual impairments, and learning disabilities. These are the students that put on a strong face on the outside but really struggle with organization and academics inside. These students attend typical high schools and hang out with typical kids and them themselves are typical teenagers, but have underlying factors that impact them daily.
