As a component of the 'No Child Left Behind' law, Title I is a federally funded grant program designed to support low-achieving children in high poverty public schools. Our faculty and staff continue to collaborate with students, parents, and community members to promote academic excellence for our lifelong learners reflecting a respectful, responsible, and safe environment. Along with our schools mission statement, we excel through creativity and mindful-thinking within our IB Primary Years Programme, Italian Language Resources, Arts Integration, as well as an active Wellness and PBIS Exemplar School. All of these pieces make our classroom active, cooperative, and engaging!
My classroom consists of a charismatic, athletic, gifted bundle of twenty students! We are a third grade bunch consisting of 8 and 9 year olds in Maryland. As you can see above, we have a long list of essentials we pertain to on top of Common Core so this class is moving and grooving at all times of the day.
