I work teaching 5th grade at a Title 1 (High Poverty) school in Mount Vernon, Washington. At our school, almost 80% of the children receive free and reduced meals. This means that most of the students that I teach come from families who cannot afford to give their children breakfast and/or lunch. In our community we strive to support each other in every possible way to help create a globally minded society of positive, persevering and accepting citizens. The children I teach are happy students who are excited to learn and with your support, we can create the best possible learning environment for these kids! Thanks for visiting!
