I am a primary grades language arts teacher at a STEM school in Arizona. STEM requires technology and science and math to be used together and integrate with Language Arts. This means lots of hands on materials, and I do not have that arsenal of hands on teaching materials to help my students grow and learn. Arizona is a state whose legislation seems to not take education seriously and back it financially, my students suffer. My students live in a low socioeconomic area, and appreciate all the public support that we can get!
