I am asking for help with buying tablets for my students! Students will be able to do research projects for all subjects, listen to and/or read books, practice math with educational apps, and much more! The addition of technology would give my students a much needed boost of practice in the areas of listening, speaking and use of technology. Students who are confident in their listening, speaking and technological abilities will be ready to face their challenges with all subject areas in school. Children in this generation need technology to increase engagement and to push them to their full potential. Our classrooms are not yet at the level technologically as so other schools within our community to meet their needs as learners. This grant will help to close that gap just a little bit more.
