My students are from beautiful White County, a rural area in Northeast Georgia. These children are bright, creative, intelligent, and ready to learn. They come to me from varied homes, backgrounds, and families, but all with one goal... succeeding in school and growing academically and socially.
Our school is a Title One School, having around 56 percent of our student population on the free and reduced lunch program.
Many of our students cannot afford things at home that most of us take for granted.
I want to ask for items for my classroom that will make learning more hands-on, engaging, and challenging for my students while also introducing them to new things that they may not otherwise have access to at home.
