I am hoping to provide my students with a full year of Scholastic Weekly Readers. The students always love the magazines and look at them as fun rather than work. Supplemental reading materials such as Weekly Readers are no longer included in our yearly budget. Not only do Weekly Readers provide fun and interesting topics on grade level but they also offer a wealth of nonfiction material that is a crucial portion of the Common Core Curriculum. The magazines cover a variety of topics which are sure to interest all students. They will be able to read about different topics on their grade level and hopefully turn even the most reluctant reader into a pro!
