Receiving the Elementary and Middle School Sunshine State Young Readers Association (SSYRA) books will give my students the opportunity to read books below, on, and above their grade level while reading books of interest with exciting and meaningful messages.
These students take their knowledge of these books and turn them in to creative projects, focusing on their strengths and interests. Students will also have the opportunity to take part in a Jeopardy Style Book Bowl Competition where students will answer questions about the books while working with a team to try to take home the trophy as a Lead Reader!
