We are a brand new school in a very transient part of Florida, and the students are excited to be starting a new year in a new school. My classroom is beautiful and the students love being there, but it a very small classroom with limited storage, so anything that I buy needs to have its own storage
Each of my students learns drastically differently than the next. The seat cushions will give my students the opportunity to choose how they want to learn for the day. Many of the students are not able to sit in their seat for more than a few minutes at a time, and it causes interruptions to their group mates' learning. These cushions will give them the ability to be seated flexibly!
The adjustable easel will make it easy for me to put my teaching materials on while I walk around the classroom monitoring my students. Also, when students give presentations, they will have a stand that is at the perfect height for them, not matter how short or tall they are.
The books will help my students who are struggling with vocabulary and word patterns. They are colorful and the activities are fun, which will make the students want to use them.
The ear buds will assist my students with using our classroom technology. We do not have a class set of headphones, so the ear buds will help out the students who are not able to afford to buy their own pair.
