There are many labels attributed to my students; educationally disadvantage, economically disadvantaged and socially or mentally disadvantaged. Unfortunately these labels according to their definitions are true. These labels include statements such as severely socioeconomic disadvantages, families social and economic circumstances hinder their ability to learn or impediments to education arise from their social or economic disadvantages. These factors are deemed to be the reason my students are prevented from obtaining appropriate benefits from education in school. Apparently the statisticians, theorist and prognosticators haven't met my APS students.
