I like to give my 5th and 6th grade students the opportunity to understand some of the products that go along with puberty and the hygiene needs for the rest of their life. Each boy and girl will receive a sample deodorant and each girl will receive a small bag with some samples of feminine products. Having an understanding of puberty, and the products involved, at a young age helps students to feel more confident as they go through the changes that happen to us all. Being able to give the students the ability to explore and understand is a wonderful gift.

About my class
