Students will use these chrome books in a variety of ways. First, they will be able to gain word-processing and general computer skills, both of which are essential in today's world. Our school also has a program called first in math, this allows students to practice math skills that they've learned in ways they cannot through books. Last year my class was ranked 68th in the state of Pennsylvania, that was with us only having access to a computer lab once or twice a week.
I can only imagine the new heights we could take our math skills to with access to computers every day! These computers will also allow students to complete many more projects within the classroom. One of our issues with projects is the students do not have the resources to research at home, and have little chance to do so at school. With these computers the students will be able to have their creativity shine through the completion of more projects! Your generous donation will touch many groups of students for years to come, I know this will accelerate them on the path to success.
