We would love to have a literacy time each day designed to build our reading skills, fluency, along with comprehension, vocabulary, and how we can relate to REAL books. We would like a whole class set of books, along with a small group set designed to help us at our own levels.
We are looking for these specific books to help increase our overall literacy through book clubs, and art supplies, paper and pipe cleaners, to extend what we learn through our literature into some hands on experiences.
Each student would get their own copy of the class book and a book to match their level of reading for the book club in the class. Both books will relate to each other and can work with each other to gain the students reading abilities.
