My students will use their headphones on their iPads for individual listening libraries. Each student will have a copy of a book on the iPod and be able to listen to it at their own pace. They will also use the headphones to listen to educational apps such as Teach your Monster to Read. They will also be able to use pillows to listen to books on their iPads or read to themselves. The students will have an opportunity to use these supplies during our 60 minute guided reading and literacy center time. Each group will have about 15 minutes to listen to books on their Ipads, play educational games or simply lay on the pillows to read to themselves.
