In my science classes I have been switching from traditional textbooks to CK12, an online freeware version. Unfortunately, we do not have enough computers in the classroom to allow easy access for all students. I am hoping for a classroom set of 30 Amazon Fire tablets for this purpose and other online projects. The CK12 online curriculum has digital textbooks and other resources for math and science classes grades 7-12. They are published by professionals in their fields in a freeware format. Having multiple online access points in my classroom will allow all of my students to experience this modern curriculum delivery medium.
