My students need a class set of Ukuleles to help them apply and reinforce musical concepts, that they have learned throughout their elementary music education, to a practical and easy to learn instrument. Learning skills on the Ukulele can easily be transferred to guitar and other music instruments.
Not only can they reinforce music concepts, learning to play Ukulele will help reinforce math, reading, science and social studies skills. It can also help them work on teamwork and perseverance.
My students will use the Ukuleles to learn songs of their choice and then perform them for their classmates and for a concert.
