For the past 2 years, the Roton Band Program has has made great strides in its pursuit of musical excellence. However, in order to keep improving as an ensemble, we need certain music supplies to keep our instruments in working conditions as well as concert music to perform at concerts. Over 40% of our band students cannot afford to rent their own instruments, therefore, they have to borrow school instruments. These instruments are extremely old, and always in need of repair, so some of the supplies in my list will help with minor repairs and adjustments. Also, our percussion section has grown alot since last year (due partly to instrument donations), so we will need several percussion mallets and sticks in order to keep all of our percussionists engaged. In conclusion, these items will benefit over 130 students throughout the school year, and will significantly help our band develop even further. GO RAMS!
