Students in my classroom will utilize this iPad both individually and in group projects on a schedule. They will use apps that allow differentiated learning. These apps may include sight words, fluency or reading comprehension.
Students may also use the iPad to research topics to create passion projects, or projects related to topics that interest them. This device may also sometimes be used as a student incentive for students on daily behavior plans that list use of technology as a motivator on their interest inventory.
The iPad will also allow students to create video or audio responses and presentations, such as creating a book review, or recording themselves reading to hear their own fluency.
