I am a high school science teacher in an incredibly diverse district here in Connecticut. My students study Biology, Botany and Zoology. We are often doing project-based, student-centered problem solving in class and most of our lessons center around real world examples. The Biology classes are often found in small groups discussing and trying to solve problems centered around how the living world survives and changes. The Botany and Zoology classes are often found in the growing room planting and exploring the interactions between plants ans animals.
