It's hard for adults to sit still and it's even harder for kindergarteners! I have chosen several nontraditional seating options including kneeling pads, wobble chairs, exercise ball chairs and even a sofa! Students will be free to choose which seating option works best for them.
The flexible seating options that I have chosen will provide my students with ways to move and be comfortable while learning. This will help to keep them actively engaged throughout the school day.
I have used flexible seating options in the past and they have proven necessary, especially for my special needs students. I am very excited to add more options!
