By giving low income students technology in the classroom, we are investing in their future! The technology requested in this project will be used on a daily basis by two different grades in a learning support classroom. This technology will create the opportunity for students to read books at their individual level during the Daily 5 Center rotations. As the teacher, I will be able to purchase e-books for the students to listen to and work on vocabulary, fluency, and comprehension, as they can not read at their grade level. These materials will make a huge difference in the lives of these students. They will develop a sense of confidence, motivation and pride in their reading abilities with daily practice on these devices.
