My students will use the Chromebooks to learn keyboarding skills, word processing skills, and Google Apps for Education skills, including Google Docs and Google slides. They will learn the importance of good digital citizenship, including information about digital footprints, cyberbullying, social media, e-mail, fair use, and citing online sources. They will create brochures about digital citizenship to teach others about how to behave when using digital resources. The Chromebooks will also be used to access thousands of e-books, and many literacy and math websites. My students will be more prepared for middle school, high school, college and beyond! Please help me close the technology gap for my urban students!
