I want to emphasize social and emotional health in the art room this year due to all that is going on in the world. My first project this year will be "Wish You Well" hearts across the grade levels. These projects tie in with our Conscious Discipline citizenship model, and they will be displayed in the library. Each 6th Grader will be embossing colorful heart patterns of their own design using the tooling foil and sharpies. These will really pop when mounted on black cardstock. Each grade level has a creative heart project to design using the requested supplies of pastels, aluminum foil, and watercolors.

About my class
