I started this school year with flexible seating, or multiple seating options for my students. Each morning, they get to choose from various seating and table heights, for their "right fit" for the day.
I believe not every child, especially kindergarten children, works best in a traditional chair and desk. When a child is comfortable, they can better focus on giving their best effort in their learning.
I want to expand my flexible seating options like wiggle stools and cushions to better meet the needs of students that need to work through their extra energy or sensory processing issues, so they feel happy, comfortable, and successful in my classroom.
