As an adult, I have a hard time sitting in one spot in the same position for long periods of time. I begin to move around a lot and get antsy. I see that in myself as well as with my students. I can't expect them to seat in their seats focusing on the lesson at hand while being extremely uncomfortable. I understand this is hard to do, so I give my students the option to sit where they would like.
A lot of my students choose to seat on the floor. The yoga mats I am requesting will provide that comfort for the students. The stools and the recliners will better improve posture as well as classroom communication, collaboration and creativity.
