I have amazing students! They are very all diverse and they come from a variety of family backgrounds. My classroom consists of mostly Hispanic and African American students, whom are majority ELL (English Language Learners). Although many of my students are English language learners, it does not slow down their yearning to learn. Within my first year, my children definitely solidified the reason WHY I teach. That being that knowledge is the only power one can have that cannot be taken away. I implement this to my children this daily, so that they understand the importance of investing not only in their education, but investing in building and crafting their individual inner super powers.
