Scholastic News is a standard-aligned grade-level appropriate resource for kids! Each month students will get their own magazine with articles focusing on recent news, mathematics, science, and social studies topics! Along with the magazine, students will get access to additional online resources like videos, interactive activities, and specialized articles for each student's needs. Through the use of Scholastic News, students will be able to practice note-taking, discussion, highlighting, and annotating skills on a regular basis. It will be a great way to get students excited about reading non-fiction texts and interacting with current events that are happening around the world!
