As a life skills based special education program in a title one Jr. and Sr. high school my special education students require and greatly need items that are easy for them to carry their personal belonging such as sack lunches, educational material, identification as we train them in navigating the community. Our bi-weekly outings consist of pre-vocational training and leisure activities. A few examples of our outings include going to museums, volunteer job sites, grocery shopping and maneuvering the local public transportation system. Our students need a way to carry their personal belongings including snack and lunches during our outings.
