TIME for Kids Magazine will make a great difference to the students in my classroom. This non-fiction magazine will allow my students to build their background knowledge on a wide variety of topics. TIME for Kids Magazine brings the world and interesting subjects to students. It's amazing to watch students as the get so excited each week when they recieve their very own issue of TIME for Kids. As a teacher it is such a great resource because it provides awesome opportunities to make cross-curricular connections, which we know deepens student learning and understanding. TIME for Kids Magazine let's kids explore topics like different cultures, social skills, financial competency, civics, history and so much more. TIME for Kids Magazine uses beautiful photographs, maps and graphics to support understanding of the topic presented. I very much want to bring this amazing resource to my Kindergarten students this year.
