I was just recently hired as a physical education teacher at a middle school. We have little to know physical education supplies that would provide our youth opportunities to enjoy different kinds of physical fitness activities. Because of limited budgets, we are relying on different sources for funding new equipment.
My students come from a low poverty area that doesn't have much, with no recreation centers, basketball courts or playgrounds. A lot of the students come to school just to learn how to play different sports.
They are amazing students that are ready and eager to learn different physical activities. A physical activity is a focus in my classroom/gym, and I want my students to have a variety of physical skills they can use as they get older. The more exposure they get to a variety of fitness activities, the more they will stick with a fitness activity that would last into adulthood.
