When I was done setting up my room, I realized there was no rug for a reading corner/break corner. When I went online I wasn't expecting the rugs to be so expensive! My students take frequent breaks but stay in their desk chair, which can get very uncomfortable. I would love if my students would be able to go sit on a rug to unwind, read a book, or play games. Flexible seating is so important for student growth and student learning. My students would love a rug to read their favorite book or to play a game with a friend during break times that's not the cold floor!
