These healthy helping instructional materials such as floor mats, colorful food group beanbags with illustrations and sorting bins will help provide approximately 150 PK-2 students with fun, colorful, kinesthetic and manipulative learning experiences that promote healthy eating and engage all ages and modes of learning in the gym!
My students will utilize these fun, colorful instructional tools through various units to create healthy meals and engage in various movement and cooperative activities that combine healthy food choice and fun, movement experiences!
A strong foundation of healthy lifestyle choices at a young age can have a huge impact on healthy living and disease prevention as our children grow up. Integrating health content into physical education is fun and can be nearly seamless with the right tools to support age appropriate learning.
In the gym, we learn to move and we move to learn! Please help my kids to learn the foundations of healthy eating and make positive connections with peers, and physical activity for happy days ahead!
