My class has taken off with their reading and now I'm trying to create a quiet place students can go to for quiet reading time. Having books on display that I have already read or about subject in Geography, History and Science will allow the students to learn more in the subjects they find most interesting. I have created a small library of books using my own personal collection, books handed down to me and books purchased by our school. I'm looking forward to adding to each subject year over year. I would love to create a "legacy" collection where each year the kindergarten class decides on their favorite book they want to "hand down" to next years kindergarten class.
