My kiddos have been struggling with addition and using the stack and build addition and subtraction flip books and other fun tools they forget they are learning. They are just having fun. Math time is a great time for games. We uses games everyday in my room, but unfortunately the kiddos are getting bored with the same old thing. Having some of these products such as the fishing for addition facts would drive home that learning can be fun. It would be great to spice it up, using the lock and key math tools would be a great addition to my class. Using all of these different tools will help the students to see how math is can be done in a variety of ways, not just counting on our fingers. Using different forms of writing tools such as the mini magic boards will increase productivity and help students to stay focused.
