Through the use of the K'NEX: STEM roller coaster kits, my students will be to apply the concepts they have learned about force and motion to real world problems such as creating thrilling roller coasters. My students love to visit theme parks and ride roller coasters, so this project will help them to gain a better understanding of what they are learning by applying the concepts of force and motion through an engaging project that is related to something they are familiar with! My students will be able to create engineering projects in class that resemble real world models of roller coasters.

About my class
