Roosevelt is home to over 350 students, most of whom are at or below the poverty level for Michigan. We are a Title I school who performs at levels beyond what is expected! My students put their best effort into their music, despite only having music once per week. Music is truly a highlight of their day and I could not ask for better, more wonderful, students to teach every single day! We are so fortunate to have the instruments we already have, though we are not able to afford the upkeep. At $140 per year, the music budget is very slim and equals out to about 35 cents per child! With your help, we can bring quality, musically educational experiences to these amazing children!
