A young man with autism overcame his fears and frustrations around bowling after practicing it FIRST via a Wii U! Through this gradual introduction he learned how to bowl and what fun it is. And now he goes bowling with his family!
Exercising via a Wii U promotes standing, motor activities, and INTERACTIONS! These are all critical activities for a child on the spectrum. It helps them build muscle tone and tolerance for a type of activity that often initially triggers frustration and refusals when first done out in public.
Help us teach our students what fun awaits them in areas they often avoid.
