Our district has a Lego Robotics program at second grade. Our second graders are actively involved for one week each year while the materials are at our building. This allows students to collaborate and engage with science, technology, engineering, and coding. As a precursor to this, I would love for students to have more math and science experiences building with Legos on a more regular basis. Building with Lego Education sets often sparks their imagination and engages their learning. Lego Education materials offer innovative and curriculum relevant materials. Lego Education supports learning standards and also provides experiences with STEM (science, technology, engineering, and math). Being actively involved in the subjects of science, technology, engineering, and math helps students learn important skills that can be used to problem solve and make advancements. I am hoping to attain Lego Education sets and materials that students will be able to use on a weekly basis, all year long.
