We need a rug in our classroom for whole group lessons, calendar, and story time. My students need a cozy space where they can feel comfortable and excited to learn. Kindergarteners spends most of their time on the floor. A new rug would give my students the freedom to move about comfortably. This flexible seating option allows the students to learn together, increasing their social interaction while participating in CCSS lessons.
Kindergarten is a year for exploration. This carpet will allow my students to develop socially as well as academically through a restorative approach. My first time learners will feel at home with a rug inside of their classroom.
A carpet not only adds beauty to a room, but the right carpet can bring learning to another dimension of creativity and wonder.
