I am a 4th and 5th grade math and science teacher in an alternative, inner-city, low-income school. My school accommodates behavioral and medical needs of children that cannot be adequately addressed in a traditional school environment.
Most of my students come from very difficult situations and they come to school without the basic essentials needed for a successful academic career.
My goal is to prepare my students to successfully transition back into a traditional school setting.
