My students need clipboards, dry erase boards, and mobile stools to allow easier mobility around the classroom and more productive collaboration. In my classroom we do a lot of gallery walk activities where students are analyzing pictures and documents as if they were looking at them in a museum. Clipboards and dry erase boards would help students effectively interact with the documents and visuals. I know my students would be more engaged if they were able to use clipboards as it gives a sense of professionalism.
Plastic stools would allow my students to create flexible collaborative spaces around the room. Students enjoy working in areas that are outside of the traditional desk space. These stools would provide an excellent way to let my students collaborate around the classroom and become more engaged in Social Studies.
