The Scrabble Club is open to students in sixth, seventh, and eighth grades. These middle school students are very enthusiastic learners. The school is a Title I school, which means the majority of our students are economically disadvantaged. In addition, English is not the first language of the majority of our students. Playing Scrabble would help these English language learners strengthen vocabulary and spelling skills.
