I am requesting three iPads. In our first grade classroom, we will be using the iPads with protective cases to reinforce reading, word work, and math skills taught within the classroom. My goal is to have enough iPads for the students to use in a small group center. I have researched many apps that work on letters and sounds, building words, sight words, and math skills. We will also be used during STEM projects. Students will have the opportunity to be engineers. They will use the iPads to research and design. Giving low-income students access to new technology is an investment in their future.

About my class
