Teaching in an inner-city school, my students get bored with sitting at their seats completing worksheets on a daily basis. I would like these materials to be used as centers. The students would be learning and having fun at the same time.
With the Math, Science, or Reading File Folder games, the students would be able to pick their own skill to work on, go to their desk, and have fun while learning/reviewing skills. They would be able to self-assess their area of struggles in that subject. That's what the Nonfiction Practice Cards are for as well. My students struggle with nonfiction articles, so this is a fun way to get them engaged. The goal is that the student would be learning/reviewing skills at their own pace and improving their overall grades.
