Recently, we have started a video production class within our high school where we are in need of specific camera gear. Thus far, teachers have been allowing students to use their camera gear to complete projects. Students have completed videos to help promote positive social change within their community.
Videos we aim to make are Humane Society Documentary, Speaking Against Cyber Bullying, Promoting Tolerance and many more!
If we were given funds for this grant, our school would utilize the camera, microphone and lens to continue to create videos promoting cultural acceptance, awareness to students with disabilities, and creative student-made videos. The students within our film-club have already completed various tutorial video thus learning about film editing and film techniques. They have spent countless hours writing their own scripts and learning filming techniques. This grant would help them to harness their creativity while continuing to evoke positive social change within our community.
