I currently do not have adequate technology in my classroom. Having Apple iPads in my classroom will tremendously impact my students. Many of my students come from single parent as well as lower socioeconomic families and do not have access to technology. I would like for my students to acquire 21st century skills so they can be successful and further their education. I would have my students utilize apps that reinforce reading skills and also serve as expansions for science lessons.
I want my students to have the same opportunities as more privileged students. My class, like many other students, hold great potential and are eager to learn; they just need the technology to help expand their knowledge.
