These materials will help me plan lessons for English Language Arts in the 8th grade. As a district, we are far behind the state average for reading and writing achievement, and we work hard every day to build skills! This project would also provide novels for my students to read during self-selected reading time! We currently have a very limited school library, and I have been spending out of pocket to buy students books that are of high interest and are the correct comprehension level. These novels would mean the world to us and help students foster a love for reading!

About my class
