The Fairy Tales STEAM kit will help to facilitate learning in a variety of skill areas including problem solving, engineering, language, literacy, and social-emotional. This kit comes with 3 beloved childhood books, The Three Little Pigs, The Three Billy Goats Gruff, and Goldilocks and the Three Bears. These books help to teach literacy and counting skills. The students will be able to retell the stories again and again using the included puppets, supporting their language skills. The corresponding STEM kits will provide an opportunity for the students to conquer a problem. For example, the students will have all of the materials to build a house that cannot be blown down, but they will have to persist until they find a solution. In addition to all of these important skills, I look forward to watching the students work as a team to retell the stories and to find solutions. Your donation will help to support the next generation of engineers, problem solvers, and inventors.
