Flexible seating will allow my students to make the choices that work best for them. During work times they can choose a tool in the classroom that works for them. Many of my students have a diagnosis of ADHD or Autism and will benefit from flexible seating in the classroom. The sensory tools like water beads and kinetic sand will allow students to take a break and refocus and return to their work. We are also asking for a subscription to Scholastic News to enrich our social studies lessons in the classroom. Scholastic News provides great visuals and helps teach social studies concepts in a different way.
